Shostka Public Factory "Impulse"

Shostka Public Factory "Impulse" – is the oldest and single in Ukraine enterprise manufacturing explosive materials, including facilities for explosions (caps-detonators, electric detonators, detonating cords and cetera). It was founded in 1848. It Specializes in the facilities manufacturing for initiation of charges of industrial explosive matters,   general technical purpose products, products of people’s consumption. Accordingly it manufactures the products of three types:

- products for mining and extractive industry;

- fireworks and pyrotechnic products;

- general technical purpose products   and products of people’s consumption.

Factory manufactures the wide spectrum of electric detonators, detonating cords of extrusion type DSHE-12 , DSHE-9 , DSHE-6 for mining and extractive industry,   pyrotechnic relay and other facilities of initiation, also trotyl checkers, type Т-400G, TP-400 , caps for the hunting cartridges, type   "Zhevelo", "Winchester", "Tsentroboy", explosive cartridges of impermeable type PVG-170 for geophysical works.

The products of   general technical purpose usage   include the breakers of circuits, series   VA-2426 , high pressure sleeves   for agricultural machines.

Now the factory masters the new improved types of products, explosive cartridges of preventive action " PVZD ". Together with the single in Ukraine Research Institute of Chemical Industry it provides development of new facilities of initiation and explosion.

Factory has a large park of stamping, pressing and plastics casting   equipment.
