Leasing Enterprise   Research and Design - Technology Institute of Electric Insulating   Materials and Foiled Dielectrics

The institute is founded in May 1965 at the factory «Zirka», Shostka on the basis of electric insulating materials manufacture, as a branch of the All-union electrical engineering institute. From 1990 it is a leasing enterprise. The enterprise specialises on the development and starting the manufacture of wide nomenclature of electric insulating materials and foiled dielectrics, technological processes and equipment. The enterprise is the main scientific and standard organisation in the field of activity   of Ukraine Ministry of Industrial Policy . The wide spectrum of electric insulating materials, which correspond to the best foreign analogues are developed.   Russian and Ukrainian patents have been received on these developments.

Basic directions of activity

Development and manufacture of electric insulating materials and foiled dielectrics; development and

manufacture of a special non-standard technological equipment for electric insulating   materials production; research of physical and mechanical, physical and chemical and electric characteristics of materials; leasing services in the sale of electric insulating   materials   production   technologies; industrial experimental batches of electric insulating materials in a wide assortment: lacquered, elastomeric   , plastic and thermo - shrinkable tubes,   bracing cords, ribbons, rubber mixtures and cetera.

Patents, licenses and other official documents, which   honours the quality.

15 Ukrainian and Russian patents have been received since1988. The products of enterprise are included into the «National Register of the best Ukrainian Products» they received in October 2000 the quality certificate.

The testing, measuring and analytical laboratory is accredited onto a technical competence in the Ukraine SEPRO certification   system ( Certificate   accreditation № UA 6.001.T.847 dated 12.03.2002 ), in the Ukraine Ministry of Industrial Policy system ( Certificate   accreditation № 06544-2-5-737 dated 01.03.1999 ).
